Plumet was born in the UAE from one question: why does most bedding feel heavy and hot by the time you actually want to sleep in it?
The problem we kept hitting
For years we rotated through the same names — Egyptian cotton, percale, sateen, linen — and every set failed the same test. By 2am, sheets felt sticky. By month six, they were rough. Nothing handled humid summer nights or cold AC mornings without compromise.
Premium bedding shouldn't be a seasonal purchase. It should last years, feel better with every wash, and disappear the moment you get under the covers.
Why bamboo
Bamboo fibre is naturally breathable, moisture-wicking, hypoallergenic and antibacterial. It stays cooler to the touch than cotton, softens with every wash rather than roughing up, and is kinder to sensitive skin — no chemical softeners required.
We source 100% organic bamboo from OEKO-TEX certified mills, weave it at a density that holds its drape for years, and finish it without the brighteners and softeners that shorten the life of most bedding.
